On the farm
Our farm "Unterhof" is about 600 metres away from the apartments. If you like, you can take part in our farm tours once a week. We will be happy to give you an insight into our work and you can watch us milking and feeding our cows and calves. Cats and chickens, donkey Stella and pony Maxl also live on our farm.
THE HOST FAMILY
On a farm you need many hands because there is always something to do. Michael and Melanie live with their children Maik, Simon and Isabel. We accompany you once a week on the farm tours and can always be reached by WhatsApp or by phone if you have any wishes or concerns during your holiday at the masi.
NATURE ON YOUR DOORSTEP
Our holiday apartments are centrally located in Val d'Ultimo. Behind the house there is a garden for our guests - a nice place to sit together. Not far from the house is a recreation area with benches and picnic spots along the Valsura River, which then flows into the lake. Here the children can play, romp and splash around, collect spruce cones and build little houses out of twigs, while their parents relax.
Pleasure from nature
What distinguishes a holiday in the mountains from other holidays are the living traditions, ancient herbal knowledge and farm products. You can look forward to buying vegetables, speck, cheese, fruit spreads and so on directly from farmers in the area.
Not far from the house is the organic herb garden “Zum Oberen Hof” with herbal products and the farm shop “sea.wies” with products from the valley. In the garden of the holiday apartments, you will find your own herb garden, which you are welcome enjoy.
Everything close by
When you spend your holiday at the masi, you can leave your car at home, because everything is within walking distance: the lake, many hiking trails, a restaurant with pizzeria, a small grocery shop, access to the Schwemmalm ski and hiking area and in winter the ice skating rink, the cross-country ski trail and the Schwemmy Kinderland.
